Our VELUX VCS 2246 is designed specifically for a flat roof though it can also be used on a roof pitch up to 60 degrees. The hinge is on the short side, The VCS 2246 must positioned so the hinge is the high side of the skylight.
It is designed to be fitted to a flashed hob, a prepared upstand with appropriate weatherproof flashings. As such VELUX do not supply a flashing kit for this skylight.
